To celebrate the official opening of Dexamenes, a century-old wine factory turned into a barefoot luxury resort by K-studio, we conceived Kantharos Gatherings, an original series of events that set the stage for the hotel's art & wine program.
Inspired by the site’s original story and activating the space in unexpected ways, we reimagined the wine tasting experience, together with invited contemporary artists and in partnership with local wineries.
For Kantharos Gatherings II, we collaborated with artist Paky Vlassopoulou to present "Tonight, we’re going to do some very gentle whispers (with elements of haircut)". The experience focused on personal attention, and explored the role of service providing industries and hospitality, while combining elements of care, pleasure and indulgence.
