To celebrate the official opening of Dexamenes, a century-old wine factory turned into a barefoot luxury resort by K-studio, we conceived Kantharos Gatherings, an original series of events that set the stage for the hotel's art & wine program.
Inspired by the site’s original story and activating the space in unexpected ways, we reimagined the wine tasting experience, together with invited contemporary artists and in partnership with local wineries.
For Kantharos Gatherings I, artists Despina Charitonidi and Panos Profitis presented “Spit”, a carnal wine tasting performance relating to the body and oscillating between the individual and the collective.
